i don't really know. i think it was a lot of things. kakyoin wasn't the only person i knew like that, that was part of it.

when shit started getting weirder i think it helped too. the guy whose body dio stole, my great-great-grandfather jonathan. he showed up and was here for a while. getting to know him as a guy instead of just as an idea helped some.

i guess there was just a point when so much weird shit had happened that i just kind of had to be used to everything. or something. maybe? i don't know.
