yeah, he hoards that stuff. he gave star a big basket of it for christmas, it's like the first thing they bonded over.

there was this one night, giorno was having a really bad time, so i offered to go out and walk around with him to keep him company. and i don't know, i wanted to give him the chance to be a kid, a little bit, so i had star pick him up and carry him on his shoulders.

that's usually what i try to do for giorno. sort of...make it so he can be a kid, sometimes.

...you know jiji made me tell him, about what we did. young jiji, i mean, kakyoin tried to talk to him and it kind of blew up and then i had to go tell him everything. so i told him, the whole thing. start to finish. everything that went wrong. you trying to save me. killing him alone. all of it, i told him everything. even about star.

he's not my grandfather. not...the jiji we went to egypt with. but every once in a while he does something, without realizing it, without trying, and i can tell he's the same person.

usually that's when i need him to be jiji the most.

i don't think the things he needs about you are things that would get lost in thirteen years.
