i know you did with jolie and that was pretty casual, so
[It feels strange, asking after it. Not that he can't; he knows he can ask Jotaro anything, because the opposite is true. But there's being able to ask someone something and knowing the right time to bring it up.]

actually i think the first time i used it was on accident
sometimes it happens if i get startled, but that's because it's like...star feels my startled and takes that as a cue to make everything stop so i have time to figure it out, you know
and it tires me out to do it, i can't just keep using it and using it or anything
but i decided a while back that i wanted to try to...make it mine, i guess
to not be afraid of using it
but to use it in the way that i think is right
so when i do it's usually to try to prevent something, like saving you the pain of dealing with jolie yanking on your earrings or picking someone up and carrying them out of the way of something that's falling
and i try to ask beforehand if i can help it
