actually i think the first time i used it was on accident

sometimes it happens if i get startled, but that's because it's like...star feels my startled and takes that as a cue to make everything stop so i have time to figure it out, you know

and it tires me out to do it, i can't just keep using it and using it or anything

but i decided a while back that i wanted to try to...make it mine, i guess

to not be afraid of using it

but to use it in the way that i think is right

so when i do it's usually to try to prevent something, like saving you the pain of dealing with jolie yanking on your earrings or picking someone up and carrying them out of the way of something that's falling

and i try to ask beforehand if i can help it

i started working on it i think last august or september? so good enough that i can have a conversation probably but there are still words i don't know and conjugations i fuck up

sometimes i forget a word so i have to say the same thing a different way, like forgetting the word for "groceries" so you say "food from the store" or whatever

but yeah i've been working on it for i guess most of a year now

honestly the hardest part i have with french is kind of the same problem i had with italian

which is that i dunno it's like my mouth just doesn't want to make the sounds right?

so it's like i know i need to say the thing but no matter what i do it's not going to come out right
