Because it's your family, man. Your kid. Kids are awesome, they should always be a happy thing. And I dunno what all happens or anything, but I'm pretty sure every kid has SOME moment in their life where they hate their parent. Maybe she really super does but... I guess I just think she shouldn't.

Unless ten years in the future you or whatever is a major asshole but that's not what it sounded like to me.

Or maybe you just get really depressing because you spend all your time thinking about this stuff and not actually doing any living. You're not really focusing on any of the good things.

and i know that you exaggerate a lot so maybe when i'm saying things like she hates me and i ruin her life it sounds like i'm exaggerating like i just didn't let her eat ice cream after dinner or something so now she hates me

except i'm not exaggerating

and when someone ruins your life the last thing you want to hear honestly is that you shouldn't feel that way and they're really a good person like your feelings and experiences with them don't matter

if i were a good person in the future then she wouldn't need to be told in the first place

Alright well I'll be honest if I was her babysitter I'd mostly just want to play around with her and make sure she grows up safe. That's kinda what I do. So talking about you is out of the hypothetical deal for watching over your apparently great and non-hypothetical kid.
