Ah, that's right. Giorno told me that Mista was here and Kakyoin mentioned Narancia in passing. Did you get along?
[It's odd thinking about the two of them, who both rightfully should be here but aren't for two very different reasons. Fugo rubs his eyes and mentally digs his heels in to resist mentally shifting gears, because he knows himself will enough that thinking about that for too long will just put him in a dour mood.]
Anyway, the thing I have in mind isn't too big. The devices described in the recipes I've been reading all seem to be small enough to rest on a kitchen counter, so they can drain into a sink.
for a while i couldn't get anywhere with mista until we figured out that we liked some of the same movies. after that it got a lot smoother. i built the shooting gallery for him.
narancia i didn't talk to as much but he seemed okay. loud. and his stand was some kind of little airplane
you know "not too big" isn't the same thing as "not too complicated" though, right
I thought you were talking about romantic comedies. Mista really loves those and if once he gets started it's almost impossible to make him shut up about them.
Are you talking about the American cartoon? In which case, no, I mean like
I don't know how to describe it other than the obvious. Movies about people falling in love? Except that's also supposed to be funny. He really likes Pretty Woman. If Mista were the kind of person to write a thesis, he'd probably write a thesis about Pretty Woman.
By my point in the timeline, it's already written. I didn't get the chance to read it though. But I guess maybe that's for the best, because I'm not sure if knowing about your subject matter before you write it would count as cheating or not.
Pretty Woman? To be honest, I don't really get the appeal. It's not my kind of movie. All of it is just... very convenient. But it was very popular and won a lot of awards. So take my opinion with a grain of salt.
I don't really watch movies on my own. I'll watch things other people pick. But out of those ... mysteries and thrillers, I guess? Films that make you think. Or do interesting things with the camera.

"don't be a dick about it"
just like that
does that actually work for you on mista and the rest of them

so I guess my answer to that question is "not often"

That would be Aerosmith, yes. And Narancia's size is very deceptive considering how loud he can be.
Correct. But in this case, it's both.

[R U D E, Fugo]
anyway the point is that yeah i'll build your cheese press and you can owe me a favor
i'll probably cash it in around christmas just as a guess

[He's seen Pretty Woman so many times, Jotaro. So many. And he still doesn't get it? Why this movie, Mista.]
That seems fair enough, I suppose. Thank you. I appreciate the help.

what type of guy do i seem like then

That makes a significant more amount of sense.

don't dodge questions about what you like with objective facts
it's kind of annoying

[Jotaro's... so blunt about it. He likes facts. Facts are simple. Facts are a lot easier than opinions.]
He's fine. I liked "Shadow of a Doubt".

that one was all right. i liked "the man who knew too much" a lot too
