[It probably should have occurred to Josuke sooner that the fact that he is technically alive in Jotaro's time would be weird. This wasn't something in the distant future that Jotaro can think about theoretically. He already... happened. There's a wince, quick, but he doesn't backpedal. Just makes a note to try and think before he drops even more bombs. Except he doesn't know what would be hard on Jotaro and what would be safe to mention. He should have talked to him more in the future about this instead of steadfastly ignoring it being a thing.

No, you don't have to worry about anything like that. My mom was the one who decided not to contact him and all. She's tough, you know, didn't want any help with it.
